Welcome to the latest episode of the Learn Excel podcast! I'm your host, Bill Jelen, and today we have a special guest all the way from Australia. Andrew Anguarda, from "AndrewsExceltips.com", is here to talk about his JMTXL utilities - a professional version of his popular Excel utilities.

These utilities were created by Andrew to teach himself VBA over the last two years, as he is primarily a user rather than a developer. The JMTXL utilities are designed to make working with Excel faster and more efficient. With over 70 main utilities and several per user form, there are a total of about 100 different tools to choose from.

One of the standout features of these utilities is the ability to highlight ranges without changing any formatting. This is done simply by using transparent auto shapes - a feature that MrExcel himself was impressed by. And the best part? All you have to do is choose the color and the ranges will be selected for you with just the push of a button.

The JMTXL utilities are compatible with Excel versions 97 through 2003, with a version for Excel 2010 currently in the works.
