Microsoft Excel Tutorial: Bring Back the Full Page Setup in Excel.

Excel #1003 - WIIW: Page Setup" is the latest installment in our "Where is it Wednesday?" series, where we explore hidden features and shortcuts in Microsoft Excel. In this episode, we'll be discussing the Page Setup tab and how to access the old Excel 2003 page setup dialog.

Thanks to George Wood for the great theme and to all of our viewers for their continued support. This particular tip was inspired by a recent seminar I did in Springfield, Missouri, where I was discussing the Ribbon and the placement of certain commands.

As many of you know, most of the important features in Excel can be found on the Home tab of the Ribbon. However, I couldn't help but wonder why the Print Preview option was buried in the Page Layout tab. So, in today's video, we'll be sharing not one, but two tips to make your Excel experience even more efficient.

The first tip is for those of you who have found a command that you believe should be on the Ribbon, but isn't. Simply right-click the command and select "Add to Quick Access Toolbar." This will add the command to the toolbar for easy access. Just be aware that some commands may use the same icon, so you may end up with a few "crystal balls" on your toolbar.

The second tip is for those of you who prefer the old Excel 2003 page setup dialog. Did you know that you can add the dialog launcher to the quick access toolbar? This will allow you to access the old page setup dialog with just one click, without having to navigate through the Page Layout tab. And this trick can also be applied to other dialog launchers in Excel.

Just a quick note, if your quick access toolbar is currently above the Ribbon, you can easily move it below by right-clicking and selecting "Show Below the Ribbon." This will give you more space and make it easier to access your favorite commands.
