Cooking gas suppliers will be held responsible in case of an accident involving their cylinder brands in new regulations by the Energy Regulatory Commission seeking to streamline the sector. The draft Energy Regulations also task suppliers with the responsibility of taking insurance on behalf of their cooking gas cylinder customers.
