Government pill a plug on subsidized maize flour programme

The government has pulled a plug on the subsidized maize flour programme with Agriculture Cabinet Secretary Willy Bett saying the last batch of maize imported under the programme is being off loaded at the Port of Mombasa. Bett says there is enough maize that was either imported or bought from local farmers to keep maize flour prices at the current low prices at least until the end of the year.
