2 men charged with child exploitation after alleged sexual encounter live streamed

DEARBORN COUNTY, Ind. (WKRC) - A man is accused of having sex with a teen then sharing the images on social media, and investigators say another man blackmailed the teen to send nude pictures.

The Indiana State Police say William Sherman had sex with the 17-year-old girl. She said during one encounter, Sherman's phone was used to live stream video of the acts to another man she had met on Facebook.

Investigator say that man, Michael James Smith, said he would share pictures with her parents if she didn't send him more photos and arrange to meet him.

Both men are charged with child exploitation.
