The Kenya National Bureau of statistic  has defended the revised 2009 census report that has been a subject of contestation by eight sub counties from Mandera and Garissa. The revised report had stated that the  actual population size was 1.3 million  and not the 2.35 million that had earlier been indicated on the data collection programme.Meanwhile in Migori County, residents have been urged to ensure persons living with disabilities are on record on the forthcoming census.
