Tonight I'm at Rogers Arena in Vancouver, British Columbia to see something I honestly never thought I'd get the opportunity to experience in person:

Ozzy Osbourne and Black Sabbath live.

It's March 7, 2016, and Black Sabbath is currently travelling the world on what they're calling THE END—their farewell tour.

We're being told this is the end of the road for one of the most legendary bands in heavy metal history, so when the opportunity came up to see them here in Vancouver, I had to go.

This Vancouver concert was actually supposed to happen earlier, but the original show had to be postponed after Ozzy became sick. Thankfully the Vancouver date was rescheduled, and tonight we're finally here.

There's something completely different about hearing this music live.

These are songs that helped define an entire genre of music. Black Sabbath has influenced generations of rock and metal bands, and Ozzy Osbourne has become one of the most recognizable figures in rock history.

Tonight we're hearing songs like Black Sabbath, Fairies Wear Boots, Snowblind, War Pigs, N.I.B., Iron Man, Children of the Grave and Paranoid inside Rogers Arena.

And if this really is the final Black Sabbath tour, I'm glad I can say that I was here to see it.

That's really what this video is about.

I'm not trying to make a documentary or give you a professional concert recording. I'm simply capturing a piece of the night from my perspective so years from now I can look back and remember what it was like being inside Rogers Arena when Ozzy Osbourne walked onto that stage.

There aren't many musicians who can say they helped create an entirely new sound and influenced music for nearly half a century.

Black Sabbath can.

Whether you're an Ozzy fan, a Black Sabbath fan, a heavy metal fan or you simply appreciate music history, this is one of those concerts that feels like you're witnessing the end of an era.
