Traders stalls near Accra road public toilet demolished

A group of youth forcefully evicted the owner of a public toilet along Accra road, Nairobi Central Business District before expiry of a lease. The immediate former developer Sammy Karanja attributed the evictions to impunity by highly influential politicians and businessmen with links to the county government. In Woodley, also in Nairobi, a group of youth known as Jamhuri Jua kali group are up in arms over forceful eviction from what they claim is land that is rightfully theirs.
