Kiambu Deputy Governor James Nyoro’s bodyguard is admitted with a gunshot wound alongside his wife while his father was shot dead by alleged armed gangsters. The bodyguard was shot in the leg as he attempted to ward off two suspected robbers who attempted to gain access to his home in Kabete Kamuguga. Separately security forces in Lamu remain in pursuit of suspected alshabab militants who attacked a convoy of buses killing one person and injuring at least 4 police officers.
