The National Aids Control Council is roping in the youth in maa communities to help in the fight HIV/AIDS and teenage pregnancies . According to the NACC chairlady   Angelina Shiparo the youth as change agents can play a pivotal role in the pastoralist communities to bring down the spread of the killer virus and the increasing numbers of teenage mothers. Shiparo in the meantime is rooting for a change in the mindsets of the communities in accepting that some cultural practices cannot suffice at these times.
