Logging continues in Kaptagat forest despite government ban

The fight against logging is far from over, In Elgeyo Marakwet county logging is a normal day to day activity. Journalists captured logging going on at Kaptagat forest. This finding only coming a day after Environment and Forestry Cabinet Secretary Keriako Tobiko promised to overhaul the Kenya forest service after persistent claims of logging in the forests and their mismanagement.
