Hi Kristi at the Rada Kitchen and today I would like to share with you the fruit pizza recipe I used to make our flag fruit pizza on the cover of our catalog 2012-2013. It is also on our www.radaquickmixerecipes.com website.

The ingredients you will need would be a tube of sugar cookie dough or you could use your own homemade recipe, 8 ounces of cream cheese softened, a half of package of island coconut Rada quick mix, and two to three cups of sliced fresh fruit. I am making the flag pizza so today I am using strawberries and blueberries. You could also use kiwi, oranges, and red or green grapes. The first thing you will do is cut your cookie dough.

Cut it into slices like that packages says. I am using the Rada cookie sheet. It doesn't matter if they break up because we are going to form it anyway. This would make a great flag pizza for Fourth of July, maybe a welcome home party for a solider or veteran. Now with what I have learned with this cookie dough is that it expands as it cooks. You do not want to get it to the very edge. It is going to expand a good three inches or so. Form it with your fingers, kind of a rectangular flag shape. It will keep the shape it just gets bigger as it cooks.

Okay we will put it in our preheated oven according to the cookie dough instructions on the package. While the crust is in the oven baking we will mix up the filling. We have eight ounces of softened cream cheese. We are going to take the handi stir and add half a package of island coconut. You can actually use the vanilla late, you could use the raspberry.

Doesn't matter what flavor you use. You might want to put that into the refrigerator while your crust gets baked and cooled. Meanwhile you can slice up strawberries. Maybe cut it up into three fourth slices, you want to make them even so they lay even. When you put them on the pizza you can either stack them or lay them flat. We will show that when we get back with our crust.

Our cookie dough crust is cooked, baked and cooled. Now we are going to add our topping, sweet dip mix that we made, we did the island coconut. I am using the super spreader to spread it. I am leaving it on this cookie sheet, you don't have to transfer it. It will be easy to carry that way, it has little handles on each end. Now we will make it look like a flag. With my spreader I am going to kind of draw how the flag will look, you'll cover that up any way.

Now you have your blueberries on and now we are going to do the strawberries, these are going to be the stripes. You want all of them to face the same direction so it looks uniform. So you leave a little space to represent white stripes. So I have all the strawberries on and there is your fruit flag pizza. A good way to cut this would be the Rada pizza cutter and you could serve it with the Rada server spoon. You can find this fruit recipe at www.radaquickmixrecipes.com.
