FDC members of parliament are sharply divided following a decision by their former party president Maj Gen Mugisha Muntu to leave the party. Some have vowed to remain committed to the party under its current president Patrick Oboi Amuriat, while others now say they will pay allegiance to Mugisha Muntu’s aspirations.
