Kajiado officers sacked over graft, failure to meet targets

The government of Kajiado county has sent several senior revenue collection officers on compulsory leave  over suspected massive corruption and failing to meet the county revenue target. Governor  Joseph Ole Lenku says  he made a promise to Kajiado residents to triple the revenue collection in his first 100 days in office and will not achieve this until he weeds out those responsible for slowing down revenue collection in the county.
