A lot of things are going on this week in comics and while the kiss between Spider-Man and Spider-Gwen sparked a lot of uproar when it was announced, I don't know if the excitement/outrage is anywhere near where it used to be. Instead we can focus on important things. All-Star Batman #6 comes out this week, which shows the return of Mr. Freeze to the DC landscape and in the capable hands of Scott Snyder and Jock. I love it when these two get together, so I'm really excited to see what comes out of this. Also from DC we have James Tynion IV teaming with Marguerite Bennett to start the Batwoman Rebirth storyline. Leading off in Detective Comics #948, this should be the start of something special. We also have Titans #7, which brings two anomalies together in the form of Wally West and pre-Flashpoint Superman. Even though it doesn't jump right into the next arc, this Titans book is a must read due to potential implications for DC Rebirth as a whole. To finish things off I need to talk about Wonder Woman #14, which ends the Year One story arc and creates a firm foundation for this iteration of Diana. I'm really excited to see how she handles her first conflict with Ares, so this is one you need to grab as well.

From the Marvel side my big book of the week has to be Amazing Spider-Man Renew Your Vows #3. The title might be long, but the story is just beginning. Peter and MJ are seeing some of the limitations they have working with the Regent tech and only Annie Parker can save them. Also things are heating up in Steve Rogers Captain America #9 where Maria Hill is going on trial for the events of Civil War II. With Hydra Cap still looking to displace Red Skull as the leader of Hydra, is this when the dominos start to fall? We might get a little more information from Jessica Jones #4, which was hitting on some of those themes as well. Lastly we have Wolverine #16 which continues Enemy of the State II, Mighty Thor #15 which begins the Asgard/Shi'ar War and Daredevil #15, which starts a sprawling epic from Charles Soule and team that will involve Bullseye, Kingpin and Elektra.

On the indie comic side we have Green Valley #4, which should be just as fun as the previous books, followed by Motor Crush #2 and Violent Love #3. however, the book I'm really looking for is God Country #1 which looks really interesting.

Other books worth mentioning are obviously Justice League vs Suicide Squad #4, which continues it's blockbuster, action movie style story and Inhumans vs X-Men #2 (IvX #2) which I almost forgot about.

Preview Picks is a show where I go over the books for new comic book day and what they are about. Hopefully these comic book previews give you a little insight as to whether you should grab them as well.
