How to Export Rock Band 1 to Rock Band 4

How do I export Rock Band (1) into Rock Band 4?
NOTE: The Rock Band (1) export offer was available for purchase for five years and has since expired at this time. If you did not previously purchase and export Rock Band (1), you will not be able to export and download this content into Rock Band 4.

The Rock Band (1) export is currently unavailable for European users (SCEE). We are working to get these exports to European users as soon as possible.

HOW TO EXPORT ROCK BAND (1) ON PLAYSTATION®4 (SCEA)
 
Please make sure that you have a stable internet connection and are logged into the profile that previously purchased the Rock Band (1) export. Only users that previously purchased and exported Rock Band (1) using the same profile within the same console family will be able to export and download this content into Rock Band 4.
Start Rock Band 4 and navigate to “Get More Songs”.
Scroll down to the tab “Exports”.
Navigate to the “RB1 Disc Export Pack”
Select “RB1 Disc Export Pack”.
If you have been verified, it will say FREE to the right of the Pack.
Selecting this will bring you to the PlayStation®Store for your free download.
Press the white arrow located next to each track to begin the download process.
Once complete, navigate to your song library. The exported Rock Band (1) tracks should be available in your song library to play! Be sure to restart Rock Band 4 if you do not see your recently downloaded tracks in-game immediately.
You can always navigate to the "Add-Ons" section of Rock Band 4 in the Main Menu to download any individual tracks you did not initially download from the purchase completion screen.

If you get to Step 6, and see “…” loading on the right of the export pack name, this indicates that your account is NOT entitled to the export.

 
COMPLETING THE ROCK BAND (1) EXPORT

The RB1 Disc Export Pack will come with 47 tracks from the on-disc setlist of Rock Band (1). The remaining 8 tracks will be available to you at a later time. These tracks are:
 
Anarchy Club - "Blood Doll"
Bang Camaro - "Pleasure (Pleasure)"
Death of the Cool - "Can't Let Go"
Freezepop - "Brainpower"
Honest Bob and the Factory-to-Dealer Incentives - "I Get By"
The Acro-brats - "Day Late, Dollar Short"
Tribe - "Outside"
VAGIANT - "Seven"
 
We will update this article once the additional exported tracks are eligible for download to users entitled to the Rock Band (1) export.

 
TRACKS THAT WILL NEVER EXPORT FROM ROCK BAND (1)

There are three tracks from the original Rock Band setlist that have never exported into any other Rock Band title. This holds true for Rock Band 4 – the following three tracks will not export from Rock Band (1):
 
Black Sabbath – “Paranoid”
Iron Maiden – “Run to the Hills”
Metallica – “Enter Sandman”


VERIFICATION PROCESS

You are entitled to the Rock Band (1) export if you previously purchased and exported Rock Band (1) on the same profile within the same console family. Previously purchasing the export is the only way to be entitled to download the Rock Band (1) songs and export them into Rock Band 4. Rock Band (1) export was available for five years and has since expired.

Harmonix has no way to reference any personal information stored in your first-party account, as this information is handled exclusively by Sony. If you would like to verify that you are entitled to the Rock Band (1) export, please check your account’s Purchase History, or contact Sony Customer Support for further assistance.
 
A FEW NOTES REGARDING THE ROCK BAND (1) EXPORT:
 
You can only export Rock Band (1) through the in-game Rock Band Music Store in Rock Band 4 for PlayStation®4. You will not be able to export through the first-party store or online.
