More than 100 million people tune in and no matter what  team you were rooting for, Super Bowl Sunday is one of the biggest events and economic boosters in the United States.More than those hilarious Superbowl commercials, many Chattanooga restaurants say they depend on the event to bring in big revenue. Davinia Howard is the store manager at The Buffalo Wild Wings off of Hwy 158. This is our biggest day of the year. We start planning three weeks in advance, a lot of prep and ordering goes into this, says Howard.Super Bowl Sunday is the second largest food fest in American culture after Thanksgiving, And one owner at buffalo wild wings says it takes a lot more preparation than one would think.Chattanooga businesses' ushered in the fans to buy into the sport's atmosphere. Christopher Carpenter staked out his tailgating spot five hours before the game. I'm going to sit here and have some food and just have some fun, says Carpenter.Howard says they plan to have give-a ways, we'll have a sport's board we'll have somebody walking around with a microphone talking to guests all night. it's just a very exciting atmosphere. Today we're up 97% corporate-wide in sales.All of those activities add up to dollar signs for the company nationwide.One customer tells us he claimed his spot at the restaurant five hours before kick off!There's nothing like sharing the excitement, with people who are watching the same thing together and getting the same vibe. There's nothing like coming to a restaurant bar experience like this, says Carpenter.
