Here is a piano piece by the British composer (Harry) Valentine Hemery (1865-1938), who seems to have started out his working life as an assistant to his photographer father in London. He was working as a musician by 1901, and became well-known for his drawing-room ballads. This piano piece from 1909 seems also to have been popular. The whole piece is marked to be repeated, with a link bar provided, and I have performed it here with the repeat for completeness. If I were playing it in concert, I might well just play it once through!
