Since the new Star Wars movie is just days away I decided to make flan in the shape of Han Solo in carbonite and gingerbread (or a cookie dough of your choice) Chewbacca cookies.
These are great snacks if (like me) you are watching all 6 episodes all over again before the new one is out.
I hope you enjoy this video!

Gingerbread Recipe:
6 1/2 Cups Flour (leave 1/2 separate)
1 Tbsp + 1 tsp Ground Ginger
1 Tbsp Cinnamon
3/4 tsp All-Spice
1 tsp Baking Soda
1 tsp Salt
1 1/4 Cups Butter
1 Cup Light Brown Sugar
2 Eggs
2/3 Cup Cooking Molasses
1 1/2 tsp Vanilla Extract

Chill for two hours
Bake at 350 degrees for about 8 - 12 minutes

Flan Recipe:
2/3 Cup Granulated Sugar
1 (14oz) Can Sweetened Condensed Milk
2 Cups Heavy Cream
1 Cup Milk
5 Eggs
2 tsp Vanilla Extract

Bake at 350 degrees for about 50 - 60 minutes or until firm
