by Mikaya Thurmond  You might've thought that the more jobs... the happier we'll be!But that's certainly not the case in Georgia, where unemployment has finally decreased below 9% percent and the government has begun to pull back on the benefits.The Georgia Department of Labor announced that some of the recipients of federal Emergency Unemployment Compensation will lose their extended unemployment benefits beginning this Saturday. Robert Young, who's been out of work for several months, brought his family with him to the Dalton Career Center in hopes of getting his unemployment check back. Now I understand that they are trying to take away unemployment benefits
 because the unemployment rate is under a certain percentage, but it's 
just not right. I just hope things pick-up for people with families even people who are single it's tough right now.  Especially tough for the 63,000 Americans that qualify for one of the 4 tiers of unemployment in GA. Here's how it all breaks down: Federal law mandates each state  must have a three-month seasonally adjusted unemployment average of 9.0 percent or above to remain on Tier 4, which is the highest level of benefits.  That's how the Georgia Department of Labor says-- the state no longer qualifies for that funding.Barbara Brown, the director of Unemployment Insurance tells us, When you look at what the rate has been for September, October, and November and when you average that out... it is below the 9.0 so that is the reason tier 4 is going away.
