Operations at Kenyatta National Hospital were temporarily paralyzed yesterday after nurses downed tools to protest the assault of their colleague by a deceased patient’s family. The incident allegedly took place on Saturday at a ward when a woman whose child had died allegedly attempted to strangle the nurse. The nurses however agreed to resume duty in the afternoon after KNH Management committed to address their grievances.
