Uganda Premier league opening fixtures yield 15 goals

The opening matchday in the Uganda Premier League has yielded 15 goals.

Three of those goals came at the StarTimes Stadium in Lugogo where KCCA FC hold on for a 2-1 win over Tooro United.

Allan Okello and Patrick Kaddu scored either half for Mike Mutebi’s side.

Defending champions Vipers SC were meantime made to work for their win over newly promoted Ndejje University FC.

The Venoms had Davis Kasirye’s last-gasp goal to thank in Javier Martinez Espinosa’s first competitive match.
