A5225373 Lucky is a gorgeous 4-year-old black and tan neutered male German Shepherd and Rottweiler mix who was found as a stray in Duarte and brought to the Baldwin Park Animal Care Center on October 5th. Weighing 79 lbs, Lucky has an adventurous spirit that is not well served by the confines of the kennel environment. He doesn’t understand why he’s here and he wants to get out and explore. Lucky walks well on a leash and it is possible he is housebroken.  Our volunteers thought he warmed up quicker to the women than the men, but with attention and a devoted person he’s sure to be a happy companion for either. He really perked up when he saw and got to meet other big dogs in the yard and they seemed to make him more confident.  Lucky is going to be a great hiking or walking buddy for daytime adventures and a great snuggle buddy at the end of a long day.
