Phillip Sear plays an unusual short waltz caprice from 1924 by the very obscure Australian composer Hilda Romer Murphy. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I can find nothing about this composer except that she published three piano pieces between 1921 and 1954. This piece is full of unexpected harmonic shifts - and is made hard to read by the fact that Murphy (who copyrighted her own works) seems to have disliked courtesy accidentals!
