20 percent of the corruption cases reported to IGG are in education sector

The Inspector General of Government Justice Irene Mulyagonja has revealed that 20% of all cases referred to her office concern the education sector.

The IGG who was speaking at a dialogue between different anti-corruption agencies and education sector stake-holders said it was important to incorporate anti-corruption and ethical studies in the primary and secondary syllabus as a means to create a generation that will be less likely to embrace corrupt tendencies.
