Imagine travelling several kilometers away to physically deliver messages to your intended recipient just like was the case during the pre-modern communication period. It may sound weird especially during this digital driven times, but in the far flung Laisamis constituency in Marsabit County, residents continue to bank on the services of Morans who have to literally walk for hundreds to deliver their messages to their loved ones. Area Member of Parliament Marselino Malimo is now reaching out to mobile telephony providers to come to the rescue of the locals who he says are currently going through untold communication troubles.
