At least 100,000 farmers are set to be trained on conservation agriculture in a move aimed at minimizing the disruption of the soil structure to boost production. The training would be financed by 1.08 billion shillings availed by the European Union, the Ministry of Agriculture and the Food and Agriculture Organization. Beneficiaries would also be linked with markets for their produce.
