A 1-year-old Syrian hamster has a large paw tumour

For 2 weeks, the paw had grown bigger. Some pustules were seen. Under close examination, the paw has a tumour and not an abscess. Amputation of the foot below the elbow is advised. The thin hamster has overgrown lower teeth indicating she was not eating much.
