The spokesperson for the Police Directorate of Traffic and Road Safety Charles Ssebambulide, has dismissed claims that traffic officers have been withdrawn from major highways across the country. According to Ssebambulide, the traffic police directorate has only changed its deployment in order to more efficiently monitor the country’s busiest highways as the festive season gets underway. A brief tour of some of the busiest highways showed that though traffic police officers were still deployed, their numbers have reduced significantly. #NTVNews Subscribe to Our Channel For more news visit http://www.ntv.co.ug Follow us on Twitter http://www.twitter.com/ntvuganda Like our Facebook page http://www.facebook.com/NTVUganda
