Evaluation department to get one percent of development budget

The increased spending of public funds in recent years on infrastructure, health and education has been informed by research. National Treasury Cabinet Secretary Henry Rotich says the government is finalizing on a policy that will see the Monitoring and Evaluation department made a parastatal and allocated one percent of the country’s development budget.
