A hamster with a swollen left upper lip - 2nd consultation

Second consultion about swollen left upper lip of dwarf hamster. A bigger swelling concerned the young couple and two small boy and girl. The family was very worried as he lost weight from 62 g to 46 g 10 days ago to 38 g now. This was a 2-year-old dwarf hamster. The lump affected his appetite. He "ate quite a lot" but was losing weight. Weighing the patient is very important as some vets don't do it. Eating the softer food like bread. "Can peel the seeds", the little girl of 10 years of age said. "Teeth are now short," the father said as they were clipped 10 days ago. Anaesthetic would be needed to examine this swelling.
