We revisit one of the better hydraulic elevators I have ridden: a 38-year-old Meredith Oiltronic, using Dover's "New" Oildraulic Trechnology. One other aspect of the revisit, was to see if the doors can be pried open when it's in it's idle stage. Unlike Burbank Hospital, and Macy's at Whitney Field, no, they can't be, if you go more than 3 inches. It'll trigger the door mechanism, and reclose, in idle mode. Of course, in travels, the door fully closes.
