This is an older Westinghouse Traction Elevator, at Bloomingdale's Men and Home, at The Mall at Chestnut Hill, Chestnut Hill (Newton), Massachusetts. First thing you'd notice, is the super-loud music playing right at the elevator, forcing a complete audio swap outside the lift. Also very noticeable, is the modernization, with EXCITING Adams buttons, and "ACME" (CEelectronics) floor counter, as well as an EPCO directional chime, which makes it noticable, that the original dinner bell down chime control is still present, the way it beeps 4 times. The ride was actually quite smooth, but the shaft noise is a bit unsettling. It makes you wonder what issues are behind the lift walls. Then again, it's a SIMON mall.
