This melon farm harvests melons / pumpkins every few seconds and flushes them towards you. It doesn't use BUD switches and is thus very compact and easy to build.

Note that melons won't grow if you place opaque blocks right above the sterns - these blocks must be air or glass/glowstone. It doesn't matter which blocks you put above the melon blocks though.

Used in this video: 12 melon seeds, 25 sticky pistons, 4 non-sticky pistons, 21 repeaters (33 for a version 1 block lower), 3 redstone torches, 14 glass, 24 dirt, 1 hoe, 4 water sources, about 40 stones, 15 wool, 4 furnaces, lots of redstone.

Melon farm based on "nice melons!" by monkeyfarm, his doesn't have auto-harvesting though: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uX7x4FJlRik

Piston clock done by kiershar (who also did a very nice mob spawner that I've extended to three floors! Comment if you'd like me to do a video on that): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M19UQ5Y_wzQ

Clock does clog up sometimes after leaving the game. If you use a lever with the restarter instead of the redstone torch, it's still much better than restarting by placing redstone / torches all the while. Credits go to ChaosMPG: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RMra_CTDBcs
