A statue of Johnny Appleseed that sits inside City Hall, Leominster, Mass. A tree stump was carved into this statue, and even though it was heavilly stained and varnished, the city wanted to house the work inside City Hall, so the owner aggreed, had the stump removed, and here it sits, after a short stint in front of the Johnny Appleseed Rest Stop on Route 2 West, Lancaster, Mass.
