I took this video on June 16th, 2013, when Newton Lake in Collingswood, NJ was not yet treated with pesticides for algae/vegetation control. I saw a Common Carp (Cyprinus carpio) feeding in the shallow water. At naked eye, I would estimate the Carp to be around 8-10lbs.

This video is living proof that Carps have absolutely no problem in feeding at shallow water during Summer time. This is one reason why "stalking" can be so much fun when it comes to Carping! All you have to do is drop a couple pieces of bait around them (chum), and then throw your hook in between. Lots of fun!

Enjoy the interesting view. :)
