Hello, YouTube Viewers!

It's been quite a while since I uploaded a fishing video; thus, here's a little video of me Micro-Fishing/Multi-Species Fishing at Wallworth Lake, Haddonfield, NJ.

For those who are not familiar with the term "Micro-Fishing," it's basically the art of using light tackle in order to catch fishes that are less than 6 inches. For a Multi-Species angler, Micro-Fishing is a very very crucial technique! After all, many Species of freshwater fish do not grow past 6 inches (i.e. Notropis spp.). Thus, those can only be caught through Micro-Fishing!

Micro-Fishing is also a very important tool to measure/see natural reproduction ratios in different bodies of water. For example: catching a large number of small fish of a certain Species of fish can show that natural reproduction of the same is flourishing. For this video, the small Largemouth Bass (Micropterus salmoides) are certainly proof that their natural reproduction is going GREAT! That's certainly a good thing.

In the video, I'm using my specialized setup for fishes between 4-6 inches: a 1/64 oz Trout Magnet jighead with a 3" Gulp! Alive Emerald Shiner Minnow on 4lbs Vanish Fluorocarbon. This setup doesn't only catch small fish, but can also land game fish as well! As a matter of fact, I've caught plenty of big Catfish (Ictalurus spp.) and Largemouth Bass by going "finesse," as Bass fanatics would say.

There were a total of 11 fish caught in the video. Thus, 11 minutes and 11 fish gives us an average of 1 fish per minute, which is plenty of action for a Multi-Species angler! As a matter of fact, a spot like this is a golden spot for kids as well -- you bring some nightcrawlers and small hooks, and they will be catching fish almost all the time. They may get hooked for life!

I would recommend watching the whole video; however, as shown, these are the following Species of fish portrayed in the video:

1:57 -- Largemouth Bass
3:12 -- Largemouth Bass
4:17 -- Black Crappie (Pomoxis nigromaculatus)
5:22 -- Green Sunfish X Bluegill Hybrid (Lepomis cyanellus X Lepomis macrochirus)
6:00 -- Green Sunfish X Bluegill Hybrid
7:08 -- Pumpkinseed (Lepomis gibbosus)
8:10 -- Bluegill (Lepomis macrochirus)
9:24 -- Green Sunfish X Bluegill Hybrid
10:05 -- Green Sunfish X Bluegill Hyrbrid
10:48 -- Largemouth Bass
11:15 -- Bluegill

Hope you enjoyed it!

Long Days and Pleasant Nights! Tight lines, Youtube viewers!
