This happened just a couple moments before the storm hit today (08/05/12)! My friend Jay D. and I went to Driscoll Pond, NJ, for some Carp fishing. We set up our rods and I had decided to do Bassing for a bit. As soon as I left my rods unattended, Jay shouted: "Hey, does Carp play with the bait often? Cuz my line just went slack!" Just after I told him that sometimes Carp can hit the line when it passes around, BANG -- my rod started to bend like crazy! Jay went for the rescue while I ran back to my rods. I wanted him to reel in the fish, but he returned the rod and insisted that I should do it -- "It's a big fish, Leo." He started recording the fight while I reeled the Carp in -- with extreme caution -- since some weeds were applying extra tension on my thin line. It was then that Jay's rod started to bend like CRAZY as well! He stopped filming it, and went to get his own rod. After we released both fish, I went back to my Bass fishing. Soon, not 10 minutes after, Jay called me over -- "Leo, take a look at this!," pointing to his I-Phone. I didn't realize at the beginning, but the phone pointed out that a huge storm was coming in! We packed up just in time! Awesome timing and awesome fishing!

Sorry that the video ended up unexpectedly. The picture of the dual Carp shot is available on on my full fishing report here:

The fish stayed out of the water for less than 3 minutes, and they were released unharmed!

Long Days and Pleasant Nights! Tight lines, Youtube viewers!
