**Pardon the language in the video. :)

The video shows you how to get to the spot where I got the 15.35lbs Common Carp! If you Google Earth it, it's a little bit upstream from the mouth of the Delaware and Pennypack Creek.

If you are planning to go there, be ready to get messy: 7 minute itch, ticks (there are deer there. I saw 4-5 of them foraging), poison ivy, and tons of wonderful and colorful bugs! (Good fishing, though! I know that there are 20lb+ Common Carps there. Saw big ones jumping for spawn.)

The place itself is very safe. It's inside the "Eagle Reserve" designed by the PA Fish and Boat Commission. In other words, that's the place where people go to observe Eagles. Apparently, they do their nests around that area...

The parking is at the Pennypack Park at the Delaware. You can park at the furthest spot inside, and walk 20 minutes to the fishing spot.

I would recommend fishing that place when the tide is highest or lowest. In other words, when there's no current or very little current.

It just happened that I fished it from high to low and it was really bad at the beginning. The Channel Catfish (Ictalurus punctatus) were eating all the chum. No Carp (Cyprinus carpio). Then, the tide got low to a point where the current got slower...that's when the Carp started to feed. I missed the first one (got tangled on something under the water), but landed the second one (the 15lber).

Enjoy! Best of luck for you guys!
