Vehicle electrics are often an area of repairs that many mechanics shy away from. As mechanics most of use are tactile humans, we learn with our hands, pull things apart and inspect them, see what's wrong and causing the problem.

With even a simple wiring circuit to really 'see' what's going on we need to use a  multi meter or at the very least a test light to 'find' where the problem is if its more than just a blown bulb.

Current flow, voltage, resistance, they are all linked, when one is changed the others change too. The aim of this video is to be a basic introduction to the mathematical relationship between these various units of measure,   'laws' if you like...

There are already videos on the Andy Mechanic YouTube channel showing how to test for Volt Drop, available voltage, resistance and current flow so this video drops in to help bring together the World of 'Electrics' and the links that help us to make sense of it all...

Now I'm no expert on electrics but with a basic understanding of what's going on, how, if one measurement changes, how it can effect the operation of the circuit.
