Excessive wheel movement is often, but not always, caused by a worn out wheel bearing. In this video we take a look at one of the possible causes, a damaged drive flange, caused by a seized wheel bearing. Previously a garage had just replaced the wheel bearing without taking notice of the damage to the drive flange where the bearing fits. This problem is more common than most people think and often overlooked during the first attempt to repair. It can also be an expensive fix if the drive flange is only available from the vehicle manufacturer!
