150 Middletown children receive new shoes thanks to nonprofits

MIDDLETOWN, Ohio (WKRC) - A generous gift to children in Middletown leaves them with happy feet and smiling faces.

One-hundred-fifty children received new shoes Wednesday. A group called Shoes 4 the Shoeless teamed up with Community Building Institute Middletown to distribute brand new shoes and socks to the kids.

The event was held at the Sonny Hill Community Center. This same group handed out 400 pairs of shoes to kids in 2017.
