Early detection and removal will be best for the dwarf hamster when it has subcutaneous tumours. This veterinary educational video shows that tumours can occur in any part of the body. Not all Singapore vets will operate on tumours and may just prescribe some medication. It is important to seek a vet who does tumour surgery as anaesthetic death risks are much higher.
