CINCINNATI (WKRC) - Just how much cheese is needed to serve the Gold Star coneys at each Bengals home game? The answer is 500 pounds.

Chef Adam says they take 40 pound blocks and cut them into five pound increments so that they'll fit into the shredder. It's slowly pushed through to make long strands of cheese.

It's a special cheddar cheese used for the coneys. It's not used for the nachos. That's another 500 pounds of cheese.

Chef Adam says it takes about 24 hours to get ready for a home game.
