2 old dwarf hamsters have skin warts removed at Toa Payoh Vets

The younger generation of Singaporeans is much more educated about the need to get skin warts of their hamsters removed early. Two cases of warts were seen on the same day at Toa Payoh Vets. For the first hamster, the armpit wart wound needed stitching after excision. The second hamster with ear tip wart did not need stitching. Both are well now. Examine your older hamster daily. It is safer and cheaper to get small warts excised but they must be detected early.
