Bradley County Schools plans to vote on ending its contract with superintendent Johnny McDaniel. The school board says it and McDaniel have differing opinions about how the administration should operate. It claims that McDaniel proposed it would be in the system’s best interest to buy out his contract. McDaniel was named Tennessee Superintendent of the Year in 2013. An online petition in his support has received more than 1,200 signatures. The meeting will take place at 1:30 p.m. February 24th.
