BLUE ASH, Ohio (WKRC) - There's a new fire chief in Blue Ash, but he's no stranger to the department.

Assistant Chief Chris Theders has been named the new chief. He's worked in Blue Ash since 2007 and has more than 28 total years of experience.

Theders will replace Chief Rick Brown, who is retiring after more than 30 years in the fire service.

An official swearing-in date has not yet been set.
