If there's one elevator I HAD to shoot with the TX-10 camera, it had to be none other, than the classic Payne Traction Elevator, AKA "Elevator C", at Leominster Hospital, Leominster, Massachusetts. The sun angle is just-right, really illuminating the shaft, through the single window that's still not bricked over. We take a few rides, watch the fast pre-door both from the floor (Up direction), and the door header (Down direction). We also get a look at the only intermediate station that's accessable to the public (2'nd floor station is where Surgery is located). I dicovered a controller glitch on these 2 lifts (B and C are on the same one). If both are on 1, and someone calls B from the rear side, both B, and C, will open. This give the effect of C getting "Ghost Calls". I've seen C open on it's own a few times, but this time around, I actually figured out how it does that.
