Sunday May 15, 2016 Queen's Veterinary Surgery, Singapore The owner continued feeding treats and home food in addition to the Science Diet r/d. So the Spitz has put on more weight. r/d diet is to be fed in amounts specified in the table on the packing to achieve the desired weight. This takes about 3 months. The spitz was spayed at 7 months of age, but had put on so much weight now at around 2 years due to excessive diet in addition to feeding r/d. The owner was taught how to feed r/d and to stop all other feeding. In this way, the dog will slim down.
