CINCINNATI (WKRC) - Monday marks 45 years since "The Young and the Restless" premiered.

To mark the milestone, television's most-watched daytime drama is treating viewers to a week of epic high-stakes drama, romance and compelling character returns.

Award-winning actors Peter Bergman, who plays Jack Abbott, and Melody Thomas Scott, who plays Nikki Newman, joined Local 12 via satellite Monday to tell us more about what viewers can expect.
